WeDesignTech Settings

These are the General Settings for the WeDesignTech Ultimate Booking Addon, which configure various options for Rooms, Staff, Pricing, and Permalinks.

Navigate to WordPress Dashboard → WeDesignTech Settings → Settings → General.

Here’s a breakdown of the key functionalities:

Room Settings

• ✅ Room's Categories & Amenities: Enables taxonomy for categorizing and adding amenities to rooms.

• ✅ Staff's Departments: Allows grouping staff under specific departments.

• ✅ Price in Staff & Room Dropdown: Displays price alongside staff/room selections.

• ✅ Currency & Position: Customizable currency settings.

• ✅ Room Archives Post Layout: Choose from one-half-column, one-third-column, or one-fourth-column layouts.

• ✅ Rooms Per Page: Default is -1 (unlimited rooms per page).

• ✅ Show Room Excerpt: Enabled with an excerpt length of 18 words.

• ✅ Permalinks Customization:

  • Singular/Plural Room Names (Room / Rooms)

  • Singular/Plural Category Names (Category / Categories)

  • Singular/Plural Amenity Names (Amenity / Amenities)

  • Customizable Slugs (e.g., room-item, room-type)

Staff Settings

• ✅ Staff Archives Post Layout: Similar to rooms, offers multiple column options.

• ✅ Show Staff Excerpt: Enabled.

• ✅ Bulk Custom Fields: Allows adding fields like cost, URL, and availability.

• ✅ Permalinks Customization:

  • Singular/Plural Staff Names (Staff / Staffs)

  • Singular/Plural Department Names (Department / Departments)

  • Customizable Slugs (e.g., staff-item, staff-type)
